R1000.00 per subject change. This is not a straight-forward process and there are limitations for students in Grades 10-12

R80 per hour for individual students. Reduced if more than 1 candidate.
Concession candidates can source their own scribes and readers upon presentation of proof of SACAI training, otherwise Path-finder will source for the student. There is a general admin fee of R300 per examination session for concession students.

Most subjects include a practical component. These will be discussed in each individual case and the extent of Path-finder’s involvement can be tailored to the needs of each student. Below is a list of subjects which have a practical component that will need to be billed for:

There is an administration fee of R500 per candidate, but Path-finder bills clients according to SACAI’s invoice for examination fees. A copy of SACAI’s fees are available upon request. Final examinations have to be written at an approved SACAI examination centre and this centre will bill parents separately.

Path-finder can guide candidates on applications for concessions including extra-time in examinations, a separate venue in examinations, a reader, a scribe, use of computer etc. There is an initiation fee of R1500.00 for concessions. For this Path-finder will prepare the concession document for the examination board and guide parents in what has to be submitted. Parents are responsible for obtaining the educational assessments necessary.
